How to Achieve Healthy Fingernails.

Keep your Fingernail's Dry and clean:
                                               By doing this you can protect your nails from growing bacteria under it. Also if you spend prolonged or repeated time in water will a cause of splitting of your nails. Also wear cotton-lined rubber gloves when you wash the dishes, washing clothes or have any exposure to harsh chemicals.

Practice Good Nail Hygiene: 
                                     Use the razor sharp manicure and scissors or clippers. Trim your nails straight across and then gently curve them around the tips.

Use moisturizer:
                        Always remember when you use hand lotion then always rub the lotion into your fingernails and also on the outer cellular layer of your nail called cuticles.

Apply a protective layer:
                                        When you use nail hardener it will help to strengthen your nails.

Ask your Doctor about Biotin:
                                            If your Nails have breakable or very weak then Use biotin because the recent research suggest that it will help to strengthen your nails.


What not to do with Your Fingernail's:
                                              If you want to prevent Nails from damage then just do not do these following things:

Do Not Bite Your Fingernails Or Pick Your Cuticles:
                                                                           If you do this then leave this habit immediately because this can damage your nail bed. Even a little cut alongside your fingernail can allow bacteria or fungi to enter and cause an infection.

Pull off Hang Nails:
                        You might rip live tissue along with the hang nail, so what you have to do is to carefully and gently put off Hang Nails.

Ignore Problems:
                          If you Have a nail problem that does not go away on it's own and furthermore it is associated with other forms of symptoms and signs then you do not treat these issues on your own instead you should go to your doctor or dermatologist for a solution.


Use Harsh Nail Care Products:
                          You should limit the use of nail polish remover. When you use the nail polish remover try to opt an acetone free formula.      



NOTE:  If you rely on manicures and on pedicures for your healthy looking nails just keep a few thing in your mind. Stick on those saloon which state their current license. Do not ever remove your cuticles it can lead to infection. Also make sure your Nail technician properly sterilize all the tools before the treatment in order to prevent infection.
